Many voters across the City realise that we all deserve a change. A change from the tired cosy three parties which have run our City Council for so many years and left it in the sad state we now find it.
A positive new approach would allow Councillors who are not tarnished with the past or whipped from a leadership in Westminster to take a fresh look and put into place policies which make sense for Birmingham. Cutting out the “politically correct” the expensive luxuries and the vanity projects and instead concentrating on getting our services back on track – from running safe and fit for purpose social services to allowing our brightest children to excel by giving them a grammar school place while others should be well educated in safety to a standard acceptable to all. Making our traffic flow and the City evermore attractive to investors.
This Country needs to build one new house every seven minutes just to cope with current immigration levels while we are seeing increased homelessness on our streets.
So many voters on the doorstep say “You are all the same!”. Councils with UKIP councillors know that this is not the case. UKIP councillors are not afraid to speak their mind and will properly hold the Executive to account.
A UKIP Council would give local people a say on major issues by allowing local referendums.
Above all, our finances need to be restructured so that we can start removing the huge debts and high interest currently affecting us all.
A vote for your UKIP candidate on 5th May is a vote for someone who is able to stand up to the Council and who will work tirelessly for the people of Birmingham.
